The narrative is set in a rich fantasy world where, long ago, the supreme deity Huang-Di triumphed over the evil spirit Emperor Chi-You, restoring peace to Nabis. However, a millennium later, Chi-You resurfaces with renewed vigor as ZHOU, a tyrant whose name evokes fear and oppression. ZHOU's resurgence poses a significant threat, as he proves to be even more powerful and ruthless.
The player assumes the role of Jiang-Shang, a young hero poised to confront ZHOU’s formidable army. In the quest for the rightful mandate held by Prince Ji-Fa, players must navigate through treacherous territories, systematically overcoming challenges and defeating enemies in their path.
